Wrangler tj

Hay guys am a looking to purchase a wrangler tj and is wondering why year would be the best to buy and what model.
Can anyone help?

Just depends on how much your going to drive it, if your going to off road with it, and many other factors.

What YJ said. But this is what I would look for .. 05-06 Jeep LJ Rubicon is the way to go.. Though Not the easiest to come by..

'98-'04 TJ-LJ Sahara or Rubicon, manual transmission.

O also. 4.0L I6 better than 2.5L I4. If you are gonna off road it. Try to avoid the Dana 35 rear axle.. THEY ARE USLESS!

Ok thanks. Is there any problems I need to worry about with the tj and I dont plan on doing all that much off roading. Well not right now and can some one give me feed back on how the soft tops do in the rain and snow. And what should I look for when buying a tj?

You have no worry using a soft top in snow and rain. When we get alot of snow, i just shovel it off the top. Its a little colder but IMO its alot better then having a PITA hard top. But good luck bro.

Do you get any leaks in the rain because some other people who has a tj have problems with them leaking and I said that they just put it up wrong. But I don't know.

When purchasing a tj is there any thing that I need to look for. For example the under body, engine, etc.

If I ever sell mine and get a newer one I would without a doubt look for a Rubicon. The stuff that comes on those would be costly to add to a lower package...save you some greenies
