OEM rubicon gears in sahara?

I just wanna know if anyone on here has any experience with putting the OEM rubicon gears into their non Rubi Dana 44. I've been looking into good quality gears and want to make sure what i get is quality. Strong, dependable, and quiet. Then i thought to self, "Self, Put rubi gears in the rear!, now self will this work?" Sw WF world, would the OEM ring and pinion for a Rubi fit into my 04 Sahara? i'll also take recommendations for Ring and pinion companies for the Dana 35.

Yes, the Rubicon rear is the same as the regular D44 found in other TJ's. As far as the front goes, different beasts. Gear companies, I like Yukon and Superior.

i read some bad reviews on yukon and superior. has less noise. I'm building a daily driveable rig, that's why i'm looking at getting an OEM for the 44. Just wish i could do the same for the front, but that would be in a perfect world.

You could do the same for the front. tjs with the 2.5 with and a 5speed had 4.10 gears. Find someone parting one out. Your front axle is a dana 30 not a 35 btw.

Dana Spicer if you want closest to OEM gears. ;)

I realized my error after I posted... off to the salvage yard to look for parts. Thanks for the help.

I do not like to install used gearsets, they always seem to take a lot of time to get the pattern correct. Also as they wear into the "new" carrier they will develop excessive back lash etc., requiring more fussing.
For aftermarket gears I like Motive Gear a lot.
