I can't explain how excited I am. Tomorrow my recruiter is going to call and tell me when we can meet up to see what jobs I qualify for. I just want to get to bootcamp already and get out to sea!
I remember my days in Navy Boot Camp (1969) - oh boy.. the Great Lakes Training Center was pretty dang cold in January & February.
Best of luck and thank you for your service!

Best of luck! And thanks for serving!
I was a damage controlman and loved what I did but also envied many of the other jobs other guys had. Take your time deciding your path there's lots to pick from.

I got an 89 the first time I took it, but it was unfortunately too low for the job I was hoping to score for. I took it in the 11th grade, so maybe I can score higher this year.

Holy cow thanks guys I have been out of highschool for a year so my memory was pretty fuzzy when it came to arithmetic. I kind of want to get into welding though. Its a trade i always wanted to learn.

Thanks for you willingness to serve. Boot Camp will be just basic's,
the Fleet Navy will be a lot better than Boot Camp. DC (Damage Controlman)
and HT (Hull Technician) are both sea going rates that teach welding. Also the
Sea Bees will teach you constuction trades. Try to get a "A" school after Boot Camp.
It's a specialized school for what ever rate you get. Again Thanks for serving.
