Texas Jeep Girl

My name is Tara and I just recently bought a 2006 white Rubicon. Although, this is my first time owning a jeep, I have been around jeeps most of my life. My dad had a black Tj when i was younger, a lot of friends have jeeps and my ex had a white and tan 95 yj w/ a 4.5" lift and 32's. We had many good times in it but since we broke up and I now live on the beach I needed my own. I am in the US Coast Guard and recently moved to Corpus Christi, Texas and am lookin for local jeepers to hangout with and go ridin together. I bought a jeep with a lot of the mods that I wanted so I dont have to spend too much money right off the bat. Although I do need to rhino line it, and add a tow hitch, and a few other small modifications. Oh and I want personalized plates but havnt decided what I want them to say so far..They are goin to be related to it bein a females jeep and somethin about jeepin or muddin..Suggestions are welcomed.

Tara

Welcome. My buddy is from your area, but no Jeep. Congrats on your 2006! I will be on the opposite side of the Country of Texas in a few months, close to the border of New Mexico. (Fort Bliss)

As for personalized plates, how about

I know exactly where Fort Bliss is, you must be in the army? My ex spent a lot of time in fort bliss.

RubiGrl was one the ones I was debating on but just wanted to hear other peoples opinions :)

21 years of servitude this month. Going for the long haul. Heck, this is all I know....and, if I were smart, I would have bought an Army HMMWV from the DRMO instead

like the pictures of the jeep, welcome to the forum.

we've got a small coast guard station here in charlevoix county, MI used to be bigger but they retired the larger boat and haven't brought in a new one. some of the coasties are good friends of mine.

Hey Tara,
I'm also in Corpus, bought my first Jeep this weekend. 2007 Wrangler X. Llike yours already has some mods, so I'm looking forward to not having to lift it myself! What do you do in the Coast Guard? Feel free to PM me, maybe we should start a Corpus Girls Jeep club LoL.
