I'm looking to mount some backup lights on my TJ. I have the stock rear bumper and no tire carrier as of yet. I'm going to LED tailights and I wanted some ideas of where to mount my backup lights. I'm just going to use a small set of driving lights I got at Walmart for 14 bucks. If anyone has any ideas, feel free.
heres mine, a little ricey, but it's what wallmart had and they work good!
edit: just saw that your putting leds, so this setup wont work out to well for you :D
lol, those are the lights I bought though. They were the cheapest ones they had.

I would get foglights instead since they are wider compared to the driving lights which are as pointed as "lazers" Auto zone has lights for like 15 bucks also just a lot more choises to pick from than wallmart does

Try PepBoys also if you have one nearbuy. They have everthing from KC's to the cheep $15 ones.

I already have the lights. Just looking for a creative way to mount them. Lost, I love what you did with yours, if I wasn't going LED, I would definitely mount them there. Thanks to everyone for their responses.

Got mine at O'Reilly's.
To mount to your stock bumper, all you'd really need is a drill bit to drill a hole for the mounting posts or a small hole if they are just metal screws holding it on.
on my XJ with a stock rear bumper there were 2 bolts on the bottom of the bumper one on each frame rail. i made 2 small aluminum mounting brackets rounded the outside corners and mounted some square KC's on them. they would site right about where erickpl's shackles are on his bumper and never drug on anything. havent really checked to see if there is any bolts on the bottom of the bumper on my TJ yet....
hope my description provided you with a good visual.

Thanks. :) It's taken some time (take a look at the before/after pics), but I'm happy with where it is. I have a few things for safety and appearance I want to do, but easily doable.
