I did a 1" daystar body lift. it was pretty simple. Don't throw out the old body mounts before you read the directions, you reuse the metal insert from the factory body mounts.

I've heard daystar makes nice BL's. the reason I stayed away from the BL right now is to do a 1" bl the right way will cost a pretty penny, ( 1" motor lift mount, BL , ajusting the exhaust one inch higher Adjusting trans & t case, one inch fuel tank lift). to do it right it can be expensive and some extra time. but well worth it. I'l be doing it when I wana run 35's but won't be for some time, Just get the BL that has all parts needed and make sure the new bushings are the same as stock (diameter).

i have my old 1in body lift (performance accessories) from my 2003 tj. I think its the same kit for a 2001, but a quick check on 4wd.com could confirm that. You would just need to pick up a nut or two but everything else is there; pucks, radiator shroud drop brackets, bolts, t-case drop bracket, instructions. I'd sell it for $45.00 or so.
