XM/Sirius free for two weeks
 
I just got an email from XM/Sirius. The service is free for two weeks (Beginning 11/18.) Enjoy.

I'm considering getting it...I got a one year for $77 offer.

I won't be giving them my credit card info. though. I've heard too many horror stories.

I was thinking of going back myself. I had a credit card horror story. I was getting charges for 2 accounts and only had 1. I would get a credit each month but still get charged for it. Went on for 6 months. When my contract ended I cancelled it. I was asked why and when I told them poor customer service they blamed me for the mistakes and said I should have told them about the problem. I explained that I did and they could see how many times I called. I was informed I wasn't clear enough stating my problem. I responded that's the problem with out sourcing. Somehow we got disconncted. .

That is the exact reason why I paid for 2 years in advance. I didn't want to deal with the monthly fee. They charged my card once and it was done.

Back in 2004 they were running a lifetime membership deal for $500. Glad I got it when I did.

I was going to do the lifetime, but they didn't offer it at the time. Running on a 3 year atm. I might upgrade the sound system in the Jeep and transfer my subscrioption over.

I've read a ton of horror stories on the Camaro5 forums about them continuing to charge you after you have told them to stop.

I'll either have them bill me and send them a money order or get a disposable visa card from WalMart.

I've also read that you can still attempt to negotiate for the lifetime deal.

yeah i have a sirius radio and had some bad times dealing with them. it took me a month just to change my payment plan from a quarterly payment to a yearly payment. phone call ofter phone call after phone call, one pain in the you know what.
