FS FT parting 1989 Yj

Here's the deal I planned to part this out but the buyer backed out at the last minute. I will sell the whole jeep with a good title for $1500obo. I don't have a way to transport it so that's on you. I'm in Pa 18707.

The body is in decent shape, not nearly as rusty as it should be. the frame is solid. The front cab floors have been replace with patch panels. the body mounts all look good, but there's a little rot in the front fenders. Windshield is cracked.

It's a 1989 4.2 I6 YJ. The engine has 135K miles , auto tranny(newer), and transfer case plus a spare. The engine is not smoking, and has about 20"HG on my vac gage. It has A/c and power steering. The brakes will need some work. the rear lines leaked down from sitting over the summer.

Less than 200 miles? on a new weber carb and pressure regular. New timing set and chain, water pump and alt. The tranny shifts and seems to work well so the the 4wheel drive.

The hardtop is in good condition 4 small 1/4" holes on the roof where a light was installed. It has full hard doors, just a little surface rust and a small dent. The A/c is an unit under dash unit and seems to work but who knows it's cold out. Stock wheels with OK 235's on them. I'll throw in a soft top and frame.

I'd part it out also, Hard top $250, doors $200, axles HP30 $150 pair, softops & frame $150, block trans xfer, $300, Weber and regulator $250, wheels/tire $125 Frame/tub $500 I'm willing to work out a package deal.

I also have a snow bear plow (new over $1.5k) I'll offer up for another $400 it's in good shape with the mount for the jeep. It will need a rebuild on the lift winch or just get a harbor freight one for $50.

How much just for the rear hardtop window or lower trim piece?

norville 12-07-2010 11:04 AM

the lower trim is cracked on the pass side, but its there. The hardtop door is $250 same price as the whole top.

I guess I'll have to make a decision soon maybe if the weather breaks a bit, I'll start breaking it down, It's just to cold right now even in the garage.

If could get $1200 for the whole thing(not plow) it would be gone..

x2

Also why not sell top and doors? Should get half the cash right there, then sell tub/frame and wahlaa.

Fazed 12-12-2010 08:19 AM

If you start pulling off little things, I need sun visors, gauges, left rear tail light, and seatbelts. Hit me up if you go this route.

Thanks.

Well, I'll know by the end on this week. I'm on #5 of having this sold...It's killing mt I should just keep it and wait for spring.

Hey Fazed, the funny thing is it's headed your way if the sale goes through..
