Now lets do a white JK picture thread

The guys with the black JKs have some great looking rigs. I am still waiting for my 11 white unlimited to get here and looking for ideas. Please post your pictures.

flharleycop 12-06-2010 09:39 PM

no white jeeps here?

MTH 12-06-2010 10:41 PM

Don't know why this thread's getting no love . . . .

I don't have a white Jeep, but I'll toss in this link (http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/fin...ter-70604.html) to the coolest looking JKU I've seen.

Hope it helps!

Stock, no mods yet but I do have road rash. On the interstate behind a ford van when it's rear window blew out and hit the pavement and peppered me like a shotgun blast. Been avoiding big rigs because of rocks and get it from a stinking ford van.

woah half doors on a JK sport? Hmm.....interesting look

flharleycop 12-07-2010 08:58 PM

Nice Rig, I am picking up my 2011 white unlimited this week, and need some mod ideas. I was thinking about powder coating the stock mags.

MTH 12-07-2010 09:04 PM

Seriously don't know why this thread is so slow.

But--another cool DIY option is to herculine the grille. I think that looks great on the lighter colors.

Just a thought from an owner of a non-white JKU . . .

Hi, this is my first post on here. White Jeeps don't seem too popular, but I love mine! This is my first vehicle to ever purchase myself, so I am very proud of it!

What did that run you with tear down and remount? Ball park is fine.

flharleycop 01-28-2011 07:29 PM

powdercoat

I used a guy in Cape Coral Florida he did a real nice job for 55 a wheel, theres a shop near me that put it on the rack and charged 25 for the day to leave it there and five a tire to remove them so thats fifty and the strip and remont and balance I dont know yet but I am expecting around 10-15 a wheel? Ill let you know the total when I update the pictures tomorrow.

After reading this, I realized I have access to a lot of this on my local military base. Lifts, removal, etc. Just a matter of logistics.

Yes, it is my daily driver, but I do run 37s in the winter to avoid the road salt/chemicals on my Walker Evans beadlocks.

Here it is with 37s:

awesome looking jks :thumb: i like the fact that most people just wash the bottom of their rig every week or so to keep the road salt off, but you just went and got 37's lol :D

One of ours is white too...it contrasts well with black wheels, rack, and other add-ons IMHO.
