Anybody have these speakers? Looking to ask for them for Christmas and was wondering if they were good or not?

jasonwrangler 12-12-2010 07:10 PM

Had my girlfriend order these for me before I got the message about the other site. I guess I can just return them when I get them. Do you know if these come prewired also like the ones at quadratec?

Ibuildembig 12-12-2010 10:31 PM

Crutchfield is still higher than most local retailers :)

maybe you guys have better local stereo stores.
I was looking for a antenna extended cable, called local stereo store they asked for $15 bucks. ended up finding one at Autozone for $4.99

Just more competition prolly.....I have to compete with 5 others plus walmart, sears, best buy, and sams....and the county I am in only has 100K people

maybe thats why. the store I called is more like a show car stereo install place. you see highly modified cars parked outside it with 10k stereos in them.

Ibuildembig 12-12-2010 10:48 PM

We do those too, but most people don't have the cash to drop on those anymore.

GoldenSahara00 12-12-2010 11:56 PM

Go to walmart and buy speakers. its not gona make a difference unless you have them amplified anyways... like seriously. maybe slightly but. if you dont have an amp and are just goin off the headunit, then there wont be much diff. and I looked at those and they are overpriced Id say. I hit up sonicelectronix for all mine. or wally. I got a cheap pair of 6.5s for in my speaker bar for like 30 bucks and they work great. :)

Ibuildembig 12-12-2010 11:58 PM

Sigh.......youngsters lol

GoldenSahara00 12-13-2010 12:08 AM

Ibuildembig 12-13-2010 12:09 AM

Maybe you can getcha some lockers at wally world too :D
