Nitto Trail Grappler

Guys,
I ran these on my Dmax in 35s, with 6" lift, just curious what yall have to say bout them on here. I know they were quiet and looked good, but how do they perform? I have them sitting at the Discount Tire with some Black Rock wheels at home awaiting me to pick up. Thanks

I haven't had my Trail Grapplers long enough to give you a good opinion, but I will tell you what I have and how they are working for me so far.

I have the 35 12.5 18's

They are definitely much louder than the factory tires...but...I wasn't looking for a quiet ride. They are smooth, even up to 70+ MPH.

When slowing to a stop, you can hear and feel the tread on the pavement. It has been a few years since I have had a vehicle with anything bigger than 32's, so I forgot about this aspect of a tire with "MUD" tread on them.

As soon as I get a chance to get it, either in the snow or mud, I will re-post if you are still interested.

Yeah, I'd also like to know. Haven't heard much about them but would like to know more from someone who has tested them.

I now have about 1000 miles on them. I will tell you this, they robbed me of a lot of power, they are pretty quiet on the highway at 70MPH, I have yet to use 4WD this winter (except on this ice covered driveway, 45 degree slope, with a 4 foot snow drift :), around 80 yards long). They are incredible in the snow, and I LOVE the way they feel when you come to a stop.

I too am interested in these tires. Please let us know when you get them off road.
Thanks

I just ordered them this weekend at Discount Tire and will mount them mid of this week. As soon as there on, I'm hitting the woods to put them through their paces. I will let you know as soon as I have experience with them. From all the reviews and personal accounts I've read for the last 2 months, they have gotten fantastic feedback for their performance off road. I'm actually looking forward to hearing the roar as I drive down the road so that does not bother me if they are loud like people say. :punk:

Don't know if you've seen this but Nitto put out a video for them recently. Cheers -
