Mud or Rock Krawlin?

Just curious what you all like better. Ive never really rock crawled, but muddin' is fun :) Just not fun cleaning up afterwards...

Though i guess it is better than lossing a fender, or ripping your trans out :p

I like the healthy mix approach. Rocks though tend to break more stuff than mud but if you really want to scare the $h!t outta someone go with rocks. Chicks seem to digg the whole mudding thing around here from what I can see.

jeeperman 04-19-2007 11:49 AM

I play in the rocks as much as possible, and drive around the mud holes if I can. I enjoy playing in the mud, I just don't like cleaning the truck afterwords. I guess I am just lazy!:D

By "Healthy mix of both" do you mean muddy rocks?

tiny terror 04-19-2007 01:27 PM

I'll take both but I can live without the chick thing on the rocks.

activelydying 04-19-2007 01:39 PM

i have yet to try rocks. for me mud and a little pond action is the way to go.

Mike001 04-19-2007 01:48 PM

I just spray tire wet or Silicone lubricating spray all over the undercarrage before I mud then it just wash right of or not stick at all.

JCS05Rubi 04-19-2007 01:49 PM

ya all I have is mud, and its fun, but i am still under warranty and cleaning to looking decent takes like 2 weeks:p

kg4kpg 04-19-2007 01:49 PM

I preper rock but a little mud is okay too.

AzTJ 04-19-2007 01:54 PM

Hackle 04-19-2007 02:35 PM

Personaly if I lived in an area where all I had was mud I would be building street rods:D
Maybe I just do not understand mud but I understand rocks very well. Sorry to the mud runners but that is just the way I roll.:D

DownandDirty 04-19-2007 03:37 PM

There's a reason for my user name.

I like'em deep and wet.:D

Odhinn 04-19-2007 03:40 PM

Point A to point B, whatever is in the middle is fair game.

txjcb 04-19-2007 03:41 PM

ROCKS......ROCK:cool:

I dodge every mud hole I see, I hate the stuff. But, to each his own, whatever gets you out wheelin.

amy 04-19-2007 04:16 PM

I enjoy playin' in the mud. Don't even mind the clean-up afterwards. Mud is fun. :D

amerijeep 04-19-2007 06:53 PM

Most of the "I built my jeep for show" jeepers won't go near mud.

amy 04-19-2007 07:11 PM

Hehehehe

JCS05Rubi 04-19-2007 07:14 PM

I dont mind getting it dirty, in fact I LOVE playing in the mud with the top off and the doors off getting dirty.

I just hate taking all weekend cleaning the interior/undercarriage, and still spot cleaning for weeks before I can take it back to the dealer :p

why wouldnt they be.

NWilhelm 04-20-2007 09:47 AM

i'd prefer rocks. but two reasons keep me from riding them:

1) my rig isn't quite rock worthy yet and...
2) there arent many rocks (that i know of) around my area.
