Got a lightly used Detroit EZ Locker for a 27 spline non-ABS Dana 35. In perfect working shape. For 3.55 or greater carriers. $160 shipped - PM me with offers.

what is the 3.55 carrier mean i got a 97 4.0 5 speed will it fit ?

Ok... It's really simple. The stock gearing ratios for jeeps range between about 3 and 5.88. The carrier has only two different sizes based on what gear ratio you have - 3.55 and lower and 3.55 and greater. It's known as the 'Carrier Break'. Your jeep is most likely a 3.73 since it's a 6cyl so this locker will work with your application.

Not true. You need to check your rear diff tag for the ratio. 3.07 is common with the 4.0l and the manual tranny.

Pictures? I'm interested but itouch has no pm feature on the wrangler app that I know of.
