Nice pics, did you air down any for that?

netlohcs 01-11-2011 11:45 PM

I think its funny when places down south get totally locked up for days just because of a moderate amount of snow/ice :)

I've lived in places (keewenaw peninsula) where people literally have doors on the second floor of their house and elevated walkways out to the street, just so they dont have to shovel their walkway as much. Snow never stops them. The roads are never closed :)

Don't get me wrong though, I'm glad your jeep got you through :) It always feels good to have the right tool for the job ;)

The thing is we do not have adequate snow/ice equipment for the job since it does this maybe once every decade.I think our county has maybe 2 salt trucks that are just dump trucks filled with salt:rofl:

lol I love my jeep for this reason. but i do gotta say, up here in michigan things get a bit more extreme without the big response i saw all over the news, totally understandable though.

But my moms Vibe has seen deeper stuff with no problems (ok, i had to tease a little being from Michigan)

 no doubt this is childs play to you northerns. There was so much ice as you can see on the roads that i saw more then a few cars try to start out on hills and just slide backwards.

Ya'll must be ADHD of something.... this went from "My jeep is great in the snow and ice" to "how much I paid for gas"
