Broward county

What's up y'all. I'm in broward county city of dania beach. Anyone close by. Here is my jeep

I'm from Plantation, but I moved out of state about 10 years ago. Sorry, I know that doesn't help, but it's nice to see someone from back home on here. I love the flat paint, btw.

How about a Sunday Morning AIA cruise? A few guys did one last fall. The thread is a few down on this forum. Looked like fun. We could meet up on 17th St Causeway and cruise North. There's a cool park up in Boca, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. They have a sea turtle rescue center. My daughter loves it. Could be a destination, it opens at Noon on Sundays. Just throwing it out there.....

I was thinking going to the acreage in wpb my friend has alot of property and dirt roads

Captnrich 01-19-2011 02:11 PM

That sounds like fun, I'm on a 3" lift with 31's but I'm not really into running around in deep mud. Too much wrenching drama afterwards......

Bs13855 01-19-2011 02:46 PM

There won't be any big mud pits just alot of open open open open land that only jeeps can ride on. Let me see if I have any pics. And plus if anyone is into shooting it is legal to shoot weapons there so we could set up a little target range. Plus we have access to atv's

Bs13855 01-19-2011 02:50 PM

Those pics don't really show the land but y'all get the point. Family and youngsters all welcome to come

Nice jeep btw

Captnrich 01-20-2011 10:18 AM

MMMMMMM.......Bacon.......
My daughter would love to see the piglets.
When are you thinking of putting this together? That's the kind of light duty wheeling that I like to do. Plus, my back is all screwed up so I can't play too rough ay more. If you and your friend don't mind, I'd love to go out there with you guys.

Thanks, I just got it all put back together after having it painted.

Bs13855 01-20-2011 12:23 PM

Probably gonna try to get this together within the next month. My jeep just broke down. :( don't know what happened think it just overheated. New water pump on the way, new thermostat, all new hoses and redoing my oil catch pcv system Ohhh and hooking up a heater bypass. Hope that fixes everything

R-Law 01-22-2011 09:06 PM

I have a pretty new jeep (no real serious mods) and two kids who would love to go wheeling. I live right around the corner in Hollywood. I would be interested.

Ok sounds good the acreage won't be that bad just grass and dirt roads with hills and open land. So you don't have to worry about getting stuck or hydrolocking your motor. Just changed my entire cooling system and put in a 180 thermo the jeep won't go past 190 degrees :) yeahhhhhhh

WahooWolfe 01-23-2011 02:08 PM

Check out the Everglades 4x4 Everglades Jeeps & 4X4s. Given your locations and the number of the activities they have, I think you could find a ride you would enjoy.

Best wishes,

Wahoo!

Bs13855 01-28-2011 10:24 AM

Heading out to towershops tonight in Davie if anyone el so would care to come. Everglades 4x4 will be there as well

Getting a group together near the end of this month to head up
To corbit in west palm
Beach there is a good mix of mud, sand and dry land to play in let me know trying to get at least ten people out

Captnrich 02-02-2011 08:34 AM

check with Jeepnwilly over on JT.net I think Corbitt might be shut down unless you are hunting. Either that or you are restricted to the main trails. Willy should know for sure. Check the land issues section for more info. If it's open, I'd be up for it.

SharkBait25 02-02-2011 11:55 AM

whats the site? couldnt find jt.net...im dwn for corbit if its open

jeeptalk.net.
(sorry to cross forum here...)

I searched it and couldn't find the info. Thier land issues section looks like it has been cleaned out of old stuff. I'll see what I can dig up.

Bs13855 02-02-2011 02:09 PM

I was just at corbit on Saturday it's open and there was allot of people there.

Captnrich 02-02-2011 02:17 PM

Cool. I just talked to Willy. He says that Trail 6 is open to ORV's. I'll go on the Corbitt site as well.
How was it out there last week? Wet or no?

Captnrich 02-02-2011 02:28 PM

According to the Corbitt site, we can run on all the improved roads and Trail 6. Sounds like some nice light duty fun.

Bs13855 02-02-2011 02:44 PM

Well depends on where u went. It was my first time and I didn't have my front driveshafft on cause of a broken u joint. We first went to the muddy area " I wasn't that happy but still played in mud it was my first time gotta break it in" then we went south west and ran into nothing but dry land here's some pics
