I'm looking for opinions from anyone who cares to share them regarding the attachment method of the Hothead Headliners. Currently we are using 2" adhesive backed Velcro that sticks to the inside of the hardtop. This method allows the panels to be removed if needed. What I'm considering is changing the Velcro with an adhesive transfer tape which would bond the panels to the hardtop permanently. The bonding tape has a broader temperature range and cost a little less which would lower the cost of the headliners by about $20 per kit. I just want to know if having the headliner panels removable is important to you.
thanks for your time.
:D I'll agree with this permanent "bonding"--
I don't have the "hothead liners" I have the offroadhereos and you both use about the same velcro adhesive, for attachment to the hardtop-
My jeep lives in the Nevada desert at 115° during the summer, I've re-attached the velcro one time and seems to hold, but I would agree with the permanent bonding--
As a matter of fact, if you come-up with a bonding solution--I'll be a customer-
Thanx-Oh you weren't in business when I got my ORH kit, otherwise I woulda bought from you !!
:rofl::rofl: JIMBO !!
