Great experience in a my Jeep

There are plenty of threads where something "bad" has happened to a jeep, ie. death wobble, bad vibration, carter carb, broke tranny, etc., let's start a thread where we talk about a great experience/day we had with our jeeps. An experience that you could have only had in a jeep (in the front seat ;0).

I'll start....

My 88 is the first jeep I have ever owned and only the second one I had ever ridden in. This spring when I took off the soft top for the first time, it was amazing. I was riding down the road @ 45 mph in the wide open air. Reminded me of running down the lake in a boat. The wind and smell of spring was great. I know now why everyone on WF had been talking about wishing for spring so they could take their tops off.

Ok. Here's mine.

Girls are into me when they see me cruisin' the jeep.

I can't tell mine, but it was last June. Best Day Ever.

I get that alot to, but I'm married so I guess its more like a death wobble than a good thing.

It's all the time, but in the jeep, I'm much more visible.

1st trip to Ocean City/Assataugue Md with the top off the jeep. Cruised one day wearing shorts and a bikini top, pulled up to a little store and the boyfriend said "umm, I cant get out right now." LMAO----bouncy jeeps;)

OC and Assataugue is a good place to have a Jeep too :p I just skipped town and went to OC for 4 days last weekend/week when the weather broke nice for a few days :) Got to leave my doors and top in the hotel too, was real nice being able to smell that salt water in the air again.

I don't have just one good experience...but everytime I feel down I just get in the jeep and go for a ride and it makes me feel better....there is nothing better than having the top down and going for a ride!

daddyjeep 04-30-2007 12:25 PM

It seems that every time i fire mine up and hear the rumble coming out of my Flowmaster it makes me feel better. I don't even have to drive it. Well, I can't drive it anyway...no brakes.

Iquois 04-30-2007 12:43 PM

I should have titled this thread...."What did your jeep do for you today!"

Iquois 04-30-2007 12:45 PM

Today its mid 80's in Knoxville, so after work I am going to jump in jeep (top off, doors off and tailgate off drive to the mountains and go horseback riding...hew, hew, heeeew!

I drove three hours to meet the jeep club in little natches and got yelled at for not towing it. :) They all thought I would brake something, CJ owners. Wheeled for nine hours and drove home without a problem, the others I cant say the same for.
