Flat Black or OD Green w/ Black Accents.

so i decided before doing my lift, id paint my '88 YJ. currently its the factory paint, khaki metallic. im on the fence about how i should paint it. flat black has always been my favorite paint scheme/color because its so badass, but OD Green is the traditional military vehicle color, and my favorite color next to black.

now my friend said i should paint it flat black, he said OD green with flat black accents wouldnt look good.

so my question for you guys n gals is what scheme would you go with...
1.) OD Green Jeep w/ Flat black fender flares, flat black doors and top black wheels, black interior, black push guard, etc. etc.
or
2.) Flat Black all around. nothing other than flat black.

perhaps pictures to help settle this debate??

let me know your thoughts and advice, by the way this car is my Daily Driver.

Thanks!

green. Military green looks badass on a Jeep, and flat black is overused on cars nowadays.

x2
If I ever have to repaint, I'm going OD, and staying flat black on all my bolt-ons.

Jeeps & OD go together like peas & honey :) (seriously, it's yummy)

ya around here (Vancouver B.C. Canada) every mall crawler jeep in the city is black, it is a nice color I admit but seeing too many of them around here, od green all the way that would look very, very cool, i got my new 2011 in natural green, but I wish it could have been od green

i agree that paintjobs freakin tough! its cheap too. whatd you do for preperation and what brand of paint did you use?

Rustoleum camo paint homedepot. Herculiner pep boys. For prep work I bonded all dents, sanded the entire vehicle with 400 grit sand paper dry and wet after that I used paint thinner on the entire vehicle the masked parts of the jeep off and spray painted it. The paint it tough and will not scratch and if it does easy fix.
