Driving lights

so I was wondering if anyone knows about upgrades for the stock driving lights. if I'm correct the stock headlights are all one piece, so you can't replace just the bulb with something more high intensity/brighter. can anyone give any suggestions becides get better AUX lights?:D

Wow. Ridiculous shipping.

I'm not sure if the lights are my style. How were you wanting to mount them?

I just want to replace the stock ones. so to answer the question, the same way the stock headlights are inserted into the front grill. I really don't care about the blue light stuff. I think what I'm really looking for is the replacement for the light housing, so all I have to replace is the bulb when it goes out. I want to put in some bright lights I just think my stock ones are too dull at night.

IPF headlight conversion, with H4 Fatboy bulbs. I have heard a lot of good things about them, some from this board. I think Simple Scout is running these.

thanks for the information. those are pretty expensive bulbs though. I was thinking about the SilverStars for the housing but you never know.

I picked up the Delta Quad bar kit with the brighter bulbs in them from 4WD. They are really nice and bright at night..and have a kinda blacked out look to them in the daytime. I'll try and get a daytime pic on here tomorrow

Stay away from these. The reason why they are only 3.95 and the shipping is 24.95 is that when u get them and HATE them, then they only have to refund you the purchase price. IE the 3.95 while taking the lights back and keeping the 24.95. If you want to replace your headlights for a BETTER solution, go with the kit JC suggested.

If you want something cheap, just go buy replacements from Walmart, yours are kinda old. You can probably replace both headlights for less than 20 bucks and see a big difference.

thanks for the advice. I think I might go with the housing that JC said to get. have any ideas for bulbs that arn't $80 bucks
