SNOoOOOOOW Dayyyyyy

I'm from south Texas and around here snow is just an imaginary thing. Well tomorrows forecast is predicting some amount of snow (doubtful) but I'm hoping it does so I can see what kind of damage I can get into :D

crivas19 02-03-2011 12:34 PM

Ha ha I've seen snow twice in my life. So send it on down, don't send via UPS they stalled my stabilizer in Dallas cause of this weather :(

Dude I'm from Brownsville Texas the lowest freakin place on the map I'm praying for snow even if its already colder than I'm used to -.-

its pretty hard to drive in slow when your not use to it. When it first snowed the road turned a little icy. I slipped out once when i was driving on 4hi, and wanted to see what it was like in 2wd going about 30 on ice. My jeep slipped out and did a whole 360, luckly it was saved without hitting the curb and i continued to move on without stopping. I felt pretty epic that was fun. I drove on and off road at 9am that morning till about 5pm lol than i cleaned my rig. it was awesome

lol That's how my city is :) Heard on the news that chicago public schools were closed for the first time in 12 years due to snow...our schools shut down for 3 days when we got 2 inches....

Il/Wi border-woke up at 4am to 19-20" in the driveway and got maybe another 5" after that. all it got me was 1 day off that i spent most of it doing snow removal

was stationed in el paso in the early 70's. snowed there once or twice in 3 yrs-not much and didn't last but was fun to watch ppl try to drive in it-they can't drive in rain either, don't think they know what hydroplaneing is, but a riot to watch.

I cant even emagine what its like never to see snow, its a lot of fun to romp around in. Make a road trip to illinois, we just got about 18'' the other day. Living in the country you have plenty of snow drifts, we had some the other day that were close to 5 foot.

crivas19 02-03-2011 07:09 PM

man, i could only imagine all the fun the wranglers could get into. ahhh someday, someday.

I live in Wichita Falls, Tx. We got about 4 inches and most of the town was closed for three days. Oh, my work was still open though. That figures.

Went to high school in Virginia Beach and people would rush to the store to buy bread, fresh water, and batteries when the news called for a dusting... this is on multiple occasions.
