Seat Heaters

Has anyone installed a set of seat heater in there jeep yet. seems like a good mod for the winter. :)

No way even here in the winter that would give me swamp ass. :D But if the rumors turn out to be true and they start putting Leather in the 07's then I bet those seat heaters won't be too far away as an option either.

don't have them in the TJ, had them in a Zj I had, and they where nice... considering how cold the leather seats got in winter and how often it was parked outside.. was nice to have.

I guess it just doesn't get cold enough in Mississippi for that to cross my mind. I don't think I would care for it though.

Haven't installed them, but 4wdHardware sells what you need... a WarmSeats kit for $110/per seat. Since my seats are pretty beat already, I am thinking seriously about upgrading to Trailmax Thermal Pro's for the front. Not just for cold winter days, I can think of a few summer evenings up here where the temp has dropped and a warm seat would be most welcome on an open-air ride home.

I was in a discount store (Ollies) and found a heating pad that plugs in to your cigarette lighter. I put it between the seat and the neoprene seatcovers. Works like a charm and cost me 4 bucks.

These heaters and blankets that plug into your lighter are big with the RV and minivan crowds.

Now That Sounds Like A Good Idea
