Well, I'm not too sure about the construction trade, but I live in Plano, and just north of here is Frisco which was recently the fastest growing city in America, so I assume the market is pretty good...

TK- I was actually looking at moving to the East Plano area... My wife and I have friends in Allen. Our plans have since changed in the last couple of days...My uncle has a ranch in Waxahachie,so we went looking at big fifth-wheel campers over the weekend...We are wanting to live a more simple life than the one we are leaving behind, and we love the idea of it! A sabbatical if you will...:thumb:

Talk to Manhatten construction. They are building the Bush Library. As for your wife she should not have a problem finding a job. I do safety for new construction on gas pipelines and compressor stations in South Texas. The construction company that is doing the work down here is called 3s and they are out of Carrizo Springs Texas

I grew up in the McKinney area and I really miss it. Great place to live! I've been down in Corpus for almost five years now but plan on heading back up that way soon to be with the family....Anyone know of any good engineering jobs up there as well? :)
