Gettin rid of 3" body lift want suspension lift
My 2005 LJ 6 speed came with a 3" body lift, dual-tubular bumpers, steering stabilizer, bushwacker fender flares, and 33x12.5x15 ProComp M/Ts. The stance with the bushwackers and 33's is fine and the ride is smooth, however I hate the look of the 3" body lift because it only lifts the body and my bumpers hang too low. I want about the same amount of lift and ride quality but want the 3" body lift gone. I also don't want to mess with the sye or driveline too much, so I am wonder you guys opinion of the 3.25" RC suspension kit (which is the 2.5" with .75" coil spacers) or the 3.75" RC suspension kit (2.5" with 1.25" body lift)?

If u want a good soft ride, DO NOT go with Rough Country. They use 180lbs compression for the coils. I have it for the 6" lift and that lift fought me every step of the way and when I called them they acted like I was bothering them. I got help once, the one guy was nice about it though, the other 4 werent pretty rude about it. Id advise u leave about a 1" body lift and then go with the Rustysoffroad 3" lift. Much softer springs and shocks. Thats just my advice if u like ur kidneys. Pretty cheap route too.

Teraflex makes some soft springs.....that sag after a year.

Rock Krawler has a very nice ride that stays pretty close to what it claims.

Procomp actually makes some decent springs too.

Rough Kidney, Skycrapper and Rauncho are all not my cup of tea.

I have been using a 2.5" RC progressive rate spring , a 3/4" spacer ( before RC was offering it ) and a 1"BL and another key components are the 4 OME NitroCharger. Rides better than the 97 I had with RC 4" kit and 1"bl on 35s

RC's 2.5" coils are progessive and actually have a very nice ride (for a wrangler). Only thing about them I didn't like was that the low rated end is a little too low, and the high end is a little too high! Meaning it feels a hair loose till you hit a big bump then you really feel it! I have since had an OME kit, BDS, and Rancho. None of which I could say rode any better, just differently in their own ways.
