removing body lift

i bought my yj with a 2" BL on it. all my leaf springs are in bad shape and was going to replace them with stock springs. but i got to looking and for close to the same price i could get a 2" suspension lift. i dont want to run any larger tires at the time being. but if i put 2" susp. lift and left the body lift my tires would look too small. so i wanna add the susp lift and remove the BL. what all is involved in removing this lift?

Not to hijack your thread but if you want a deal on a set of stock leafs.......Pulled them two years ago and they have been taking up space in the garage. You pay for the shipping and they're yours! One of those get them out of my garage deals!

Only problem is they'd be coming from SF Bay Area.

Yes, they are in good shape. They were pulled at 55,000 miles. I'm the 3rd owner. Second owner bought it from a friend for his daughter to run back and forth to colloege. She put 20k of highway miles on her. Total stock creampuff when I found her in 2005.

I'll get a weight and price.

Most of the time on a 2inch BL you don't have to extend the shifter, so basically to remove the BL just remove the body mount bolts on one side of the vehicle, and loosen the ones on the other DO NOT REMOVE ALL BOLTS AT ONE TIME! After you remove the bolts take a floor jack and jack the body off the spacers and remove the spacers then let the body back down and re install bolts, (NOTE) you can take a bolt to home depot and match it up with some shorter ones or you can do like I did and take a chop saw and whack 2 inches off the bolts, I had enough threads to do this. when you re install the bolts make sure you lo ct tight them. the only other issue you may have is some of the kits have brackets that drop the radiator 2 inches you may have to remove, mine had this it only took about 15 min to put it back in the stock location
