What kind of tire carrier is that and how much was it. I have a very similar set up as you but went with the RC 3.75" lift instead. I need a new carrier to hold that duratrac.

I got the front and rear from The Dirtworx. They are very well built and he'll customize it any way you want. His website is: Rearbumpers

But I got this one from his Ebay store and had him add the D-ring mounts

mdavidc 02-10-2013 06:55 PM

Ordered my zone 3" lift.
According to the tracking number it should arive tomarrow. What do you guys think about the ride?

shatteredsoul 02-10-2013 07:38 PM

I just ordered this lift as well, think I got a good deal at $440 shipped with nitro shocks. To the guys that have installed this lift are you still running the factory control arms and track bars? I just want to make sure I got everything I need to install it with no issues.

Trendsetter75 02-10-2013 08:35 PM

I just got my 3" BDS lift installed and let me tell ya it rides awesome. BDS and Zone are pretty much the same, the only reason why I went with BDS was because of their lifetime no questions asked warranty.

Ok so sorry to jack the tread here but I'm looking into buying the 3 inch zone. Do you guys think it is worth it to get a sye/cv? I'm looking at 33s and I like the look of the 3 inch better than the combo but I'm worried about vibes since its my dd. I'm looking into a tom woods sye and cv. 03 SE bone stock at the moment

lovethetrails5 02-14-2013 12:04 AM

I just ordered that rear tire carrier, how do you like it? Easy install?

PS Sorry for the off topic question, I promise it'll be quick :)

BigDeaner 02-14-2013 07:16 AM

I see some people had to drop the TC after doing this lift. How much?

OK, I'll bite (sorry for the thread hijack).

What size MCE flatties are those? At least I think they're MCE... 3" or 4.5"? Are the lights on the side blinkers or just running lights? I'm looking into doing those on my rig, but the state of Massachusetts can be tough in terms of inspections, so I'd need to make sure I have something on the sides and up front.

ddjeeper 02-14-2013 08:24 AM

Zone 3" w/ 33x12.5 I just have a t case drop and no vibs. Had some at first in second gear but the lift just needed to settle so it is fine now.

Did you install it yourself? How hard was the install? (newbie/high schooler sorry) And I know that every jeep is different but did you use the supplied t case drop or washers?

They give u a tc drop with it I think maybe a inch or two if that. My Mce are 3 in and the lights on thw side are running and turn signal when the lights are on but if they are off then they don't flash. I plan on doing jk turn signals up front.

No worries dude im young to install was pretty simple it was my first lift and I did it with some buds. Unless u get an sye and drive shaft your going to need the TC drop to stop vibs
