Jeep Dealership Recommendation (Sales)

Hey All,

Im interested in purchasing a 2011 JKU and wondering if anyone could recommend a good sales representative at a dealership in the GTA.

Anybody have an above average purchasing experience? Or someone youve been willing to give repeat business?

Appreciate any recommendations or referrals thanks.

Hey Dooglas, Gary here. I just bought a new 2011 wrangler, and my sister bought a jeep 8 months ago, both cars form the same dealer - BOB BANNERMAN chrysler, dodge, jeep dealer - Don mills and Lawrence. Doogals - I do not like dealership, so hard to find one that is honest and has excellent customer service - I meet Bob personally, He has built a reputation on customer service. I did speak and visit at least 6 other jeep dealers and no comparison. Speak to Pat Spears. Seriously, a great dealership!
good luck. If you are happy please tell them Gary+Elle Refereed you to them.

carcost

I went through carcost canada 4 years ago and shaved about 2400 off of the price. It helped to have the dealer invoice pricing. Other than that, if there are a few jeeps on the lot, then they really want to sell them, so you might do okay.

Bit late in on this... but I thought I would weigh in. Basically because I think you have to be careful with any dealer. I would not endorse this recommendation at all.... I also spoke personally to Bob....and he does seem like he cares.... but my experience with this dealership was entirely different.

I decided on what I wanted and went to the dealership and asked..."can I have this specific Jeep for $XXXXX"? and they said "YES".

Great....but then they told me not to come in until Saturday to sign up because of "special" pricing.... seemed a bit odd....what dealer doesn't want you to sign on the dotted line asap?

Well...as I found out, they didn't actually have a Jeep spec'd the way I had asked...nor could they get one as 2011 production was finished....

I went into see them and faced up the sales guy directly.....he started showing me what inventory I could choose from online....all with much higher prices of course......

so...it was the old "bait and switch"......

I finally got my new Jeep from Erin Dodge/Jeep .....for me they were a joy to deal with.....I haggled like I was at a market stall and got a great deal (even less than the non-existent car I was sold at Bannermans and with many more options) and the sales people seemed to enjoy the process as much as I did.... there were no sneaky tactics....I was not pressured......and still today....a month later I am basking in the feeling that I got a great deal.

I have no affiliation with any dealer.....but like everything in life YMMV:rolleyes:

One thing I can suggest to all buying a new vehicle is go to carcostcanada.com. It's a few bucks to sign up, but well worth it. My friend saved about $7000 buying his new baby. They help in dealing with salesmen and getting the best manufacturers price and such. It's worth a look. I'm sure there is something similar for our American friends if they care to do some online digging.

If you just want invoice price info...which is freely available in the US ... you can use carsaver.ca - it's totally free and gives invoice cost and current incentives.:thumb: I saved nearly $11K off msrp fyi:p

is there a way to find out what dealers have what stock? I find the jeep.ca site isn't very reliable. I'm on the hunt for an 11 sport or 12 if I can get a really good deal

If you don't mind a bit of a wait, I believe dealerships can order exactly what you want from the manufacturer. Then you can use one of the carcost type of website mentioned elsewhere on here and haggle for your best price.
