jeep side steps but no hardware!!!
 
hey whats going on i picked up a set of side steps for my 2011 4 door jeep but the guy i bought it from didnt have the hardware and i called jeep and they said they dont sell it separate so does anyone know where i can get the mounting hardware (meaning the nuts and bolts) for these side steps? there the plastic stock side steps!

The bolts are going to be the easy part. There is one thing tho that I have no idea where to buy them. It is some sort of a bolt but it has a clip to clip onto the underside of the body. I would suggest asking napa or any store like that if they have something along those lines. If you can find a pic that would help them

That's cr@p they won't sell you the hardware. You might check with your local dealer to see if they will help you out. At least they might be able to point you in the right direction.

You can get those clips at AutoZone or Advance Auto parts. I had to buy a couple of them for my Rubi when I took the tube steps off and put the stock rock rails back on.

I bought all my bolts at my hardware store. I was fortunate to remove a few bolts from my buddy's wrangler to take with me to the store to cheat off of. The little inlet nuts are hard to find but I found something that worked that was not the same as what comes on the jeep but it worked. I might have bought them at an auto parts. I remember they were black and clip on metal but I had to hack saw half of it off so they would slide in and fit right.
