2011 Flame Red Jeep Wrangler Sport, 4,250 Miles.
Hi Jeep Fans,
I know I'll get some butt chewings from some of you for selling my new Jeep, but, I still need to sell as I now have some financial issues.
My price is $22,900 for this vehicle with options below and I am firm on that price as I feel it is a deal I would have taken when I was looking initially. I'm losing a big chunk o cash on this, so, have some empathy, be you a buyer or not. :(
Details: 2011 Flame Red, Jeep Wrangler Sport, manual transmission, package 23S, + additional options, (see below) with the newly re-designed interior. The vehicle has 4,250ish miles as of this post date. Almost all of the miles are from a trip to Oklahoma and back to Idaho. (only on the interstates) The vehicle has never been off roading or 4 wheeling. (I'm not counting 70 or so miles of plain gravel roads as "off roading") :)
Only problems with this vehicle is one small rock chip in the wind shield very close to the left edge seal, does not disrupt view and has been repaired/sealed.
Driver side visor has half the warning sticker because I tried to get it off and found out I couldn't. :banghead:
Other than that, it is pretty much a brand new Jeep, still has the new car smell to a degree even. I purchased this rig in September 2010. It is getting driven rarely lately as I'm trying to keep the miles off for resale.
MSRP for this vehicle new, with the options below, is currently $26,900. Invoice is $25,844. (Info obtained from Edmunds.)
Jeep location: Shelley, Idaho

I guess I am confused?
Jeep Wrangler, top ten of highest resale value, supposedly?
I have a nearly new 2011 for 3K below what invoice for new would be, very low miles, nearly 200 views by folks and not so much as a question about the rig?
So what is the sweet spot on price for those of you who have looked with interest?
Obviously, low balled or un-reasonable prices will not be commented on.
More curious than anything-not really in the market just collecting info-suspect a lot of other people looking same thing. Sorry you have to sell your Jeep.
I agree, most would just be looking in passive curiosity. But I figured one or two might be in the market?
Yeah, not too happy to be selling, but, it is the corner I am in.
Thank you for your comments. :)
No offense, but since you are confused...
I notice on here that people tend to get annoyed when their Jeeps don't sell here. Seen it more than once. I always wonder how someone would think that a Jeep Wrangler forum - where 99% of the members have Jeep Wranglers and are interested in them enough to spend time on a forum in regards - is the best place to sell an almost brand new Wrangler.
I mean, your target audience by posting here mostly already owns the Jeeps that they want. Unless you are selling something older or unique, which certain posters who collect Jeeps or are looking for a beater would be attracted to, you're selling in the wrong spot in my opinion.
I have my jeep listed with several places online, this is just one of them.
And yes, perhaps you are right? However, at the same time, Jeep owners here at the forum do upgrade from time to time, correct?
But, yeah, one of my other ads elsewhere will probably do better.
Thanks for the feedback.
Best of luck selling it, sorry that you have to. No offense intended, its just something I considered last time I saw a Jeep for Sale thread start to degrade.
Please remember the economy no one can be sure of much . Even the people that have money will not be spending . You have a nice Wrangler and it,s my color .
Good Luck BANGER
This Jeep Wrangler has been taken off the market for now.
Thanks for looking anyway.
