Electrical Issue TJ Intermittent start

Wondering if anyone ran into this before. I bought a new jeep, Gave the old TJ to the wife. She goes out to the jeep and interior light comes on and it starts no problem. In a minute or so, opens the door, not interior light comes on and nothing when the key is turned. Its as if the battery isnt even connected?

This happened while driving as well. She got cut off by some truck and tried to give it gas to get around them. It almost wanted to stall. Tuned the key, nothing, complete dead. Again, a minute later started up no problem.

I went to the battery terminal first, everything tight although batter hold down not as tight as id like. I thought maybe it bounced around? anything but all looks good.

The jeep is a 1999 TJ 4 cyl 5 speed. I would like any suggestions. I just had surgery and am not able to crawl around to much lol. I was thinking if nothing lose ignition switch? maybe terminals look good but are crap? not sure.

The funny part is opening the door and having the lights come on lets you know she is starting. No lights no start. I dont know if this can be tied into ignition because - door open light on has nothing to do with ignition.

Id appreciate any help. I did just put a stereo in a few weeks ago but have had no issues at all. I might have some windshield fog light wires out of place grounding? but then id expect dead battery. Just very confused and need help from anyone who has time. Stitches out in 4 days, crutches 3, would love to drive this little banger to the doctors office with the top down for final appointment with this great weather. Please help.

I thought about drain as well after reading other posts, problem is if we open that door and the light comes on their is enough to crank her over No Problems at all. It did feel a bit choppy on idle, I just keep thinking clean terminals, if goes out again multimeter battery make sure it has juice, check connections, besides that im just lost.

And yes, I am posting to myself, not crazy, just cant sleep and need this running. My JK is busy for a few days in the shop with some issues Jeep would like to fix for me.

How old is th battery? It is possalle to have a dead cell or a shorted cell. Have a load test done on it at AUTO ZONE or any parts store.
