Bestop highrock half doors?

I was looking into a pair of these half door. Do any of yea have them? I want the enclosure and upper windows, that way I may replace my full steal doors for the summer.

Also I see Quadratec.com does a paint match. Would that paint really match my paint? I have a some kind of green 06 rubi. Or should I go cheep and just get black ones. black and green looks good, not green and greener.

I've had the rails and enclosures for over a year and hopefully I will have the uppers before winter. I love the doors. The rails alone rattle a little but with the top off/down, you don't hear it too much. The enclosures silence them and they are a great fit. They are pre-drilled for your stock mirrors. I would go with the black primer. If you don't like the black once you get them, then have them painted using a color match rather than a factory spec color.

thanks for you help. Also I have seen on there youtube video that when you attach the upper window it Velcro's to the door. Do I need stick a velcro strip to the door?

Wow, I've watched that video several times and never noticed that. I just watched it again and there was no velcro on the enclosure when Britta put the upper on. I'm going to pm Geoff and get the answer to that one for both of us. I'll let you know what he says.

Did hear from him yet?

Yes I did and yes you do have to permanently attach a strip of velcro to the exterior of the enclosure for it to be secure and to prevent wind noise. I sent a second pm to him asking if it is the hook or loop that attaches to the enclosure. I have the Bestop Trail cover and it tends to stick to any velcro hook it comes in contact with.
