My sister, brother, dad and a couple uncles have been while in the service but I haven't. I would love to but unfortunately the price of admission to that theme park is somewhat out of my budget.
I can however say Volkswagen as well as 9 other German words.:D

Schweinfurt. 2 years. Man what a town. Travelled a good but. Rotenburg, Munich, Hamburg, Bamburg. The East german border to flip off wall guards (this was 1987-89, the wall was still up). I left two weeks before it came down so I never got a piece of it.

I've been to Frankfurt twice on my way to and from a deployment....But only long enough for the aircraft to refuel and to change out the flight crew.

I lived in Germay for most of my childhood as my father was in the British Army. He served in Zost, Detmold and Wolfenbuttel.

I have been back 4 times since being an adult, all 4 times to visit the Nurburgring and tour Germany. One of my previous cars was a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution which I have driven on the Nurburgring for several laps. :D

I got sent to Germany on a refueler after I got blown up in Afghanistan. I spent some time at Landstuhl before being sent back to the States. Good times, for sure......

EDIT: Just realized how old this thread is......oops. My bad. I hate to encourage necro-threading.
