2005 LJ trail rig

Ok so hate to do this but I'm thinking about letting my LJ go so I can focus on a willys project of mine.

Here's the basic specs, I kind of just want to test the water with this, but if someones interested I can get super detailed...

2005 LJ. 4.0 auto, 30/44 3.73's, 53,500 miles.
-6" full traction long arm kit
-1.25" poly bl
-1" solid mml and trans mounts
-4-37x12.5-16 irok radials. 25% tread on 16x8 black d windows
-2.5" exhaust into a spintech muffler
-warn 9500 winch on winchplate over factory bumper
-currie steering
-pioneer headunit, infinity speakers with a 1800 kenwood amp and kicker 10" sub.
iPhone/iPod dock (wired for xm iPhone app as well)

I'm sure I'm missing a couple little things....

I'm not gonna kid anyone. I'm the second owner, clean title. Carfax does show one accident (I tapped the back of a G35 when a deer ran out infront of him, did $0 damage to mine)

This jeep has been wheeled, carpets pretty trashed, it has the typical damage to both front fenders and the factory bumper, plus a few dents in the tub (corners and rockers would fix that, and flattys for the fenders) and the winch needs a new seloniod and ground bolt. Though it's been wheeled it is in excellent mechanical shape. I don't mind dented body panels but mechanically I can't stand when people can't do regular maintenance, and my rig shows that.

No doors. Factory softtop is 6 years old, so it's towards the end of it's life... I've also started to pull the roll bar padding of too, after a tree tore a piece of it off.

I'm thinking $13,500 if anyones interested

That's a nice looking rig.....any chance you wanna trade for an 04 TJ. :)

Haha thanks, I won't part with this thing though unless someone is willing to buy it out right, I have way too many projects already....lol don't we all?

Thought it was worth a shot. At that price you should have 0 problem selling. Good luck

Bump for my neighbor :D

I would go for it - but then I would stop building on my 05 LJ - and my wife might leave me.

Haha thanks for the bump, I really don't care if nobody jumps on it. Just had it out at the cliffs and it really is incredible how well it wheels. (if you're familiar with the cliffs this thing just walks trail 21 like it's nothing...)

I went back in March. It was cold - but lots of fun. Got my stocker stuck a few times. I was supposed to go to the Cliffs on Sunday - but hit a 2 deer on my drive home Saturday Night  up in Bensenville (southwest of O'Hare) on RTE 83. Very minor damage - but the cost of new body parts adds up. Plus the painting and body work.

I'll get it back good as new - and from when you saw it last, It should look just as clean as it did then.

Dan, you really are wanting to sell it huh? What happened - are you just bored with your beast?

Dan05lj 04-28-2011 10:06 AM

Yea, I've had a few long-armed xj's and now this one. It wheels awesome and I do love the thing but you got it, I'm just ready for the next project...

MbRich 04-28-2011 10:28 AM

Well, do you have any other take-off parts you are willing to separate with?

I haven't put the soft doors on yet - but will be running them this summer.
