I love my Wrangler.

Hi All,

I am a Jeep owner for over a decade now. I bought my Yellow 2000 Wrangler brand new. It's nothing too fancy, but I figure the worst jeep is better than the best of anything else, right? I love it and intend to get another when this one is worn out. Maybe one of those four-door unlimited jobs. Anyone have any experience with those? I love the tight turn radius of the traditional Wrangler and I was wondering how much of that I will lose.

The only problem that I have ever had is that some people like to mock me over the color of my Jeep, pretending that it reflects on my masculinity. Anyone else ever get that treatment? I can take a joke as well as the next guy, but it got ridiculous. I have actually had to cut some people out of my circle because they couldn't let it go. Crazy, huh?

Anyway, nice to make your aquaintence. :-)

Regards, Canis

Welcome aboard! The people making fun of you are probably the people who drive yellow H2's :)

LOL! You would think that would be the case. Naw, these were all friends and aquaintances that drive "family" cars & mini-vnas, many of which are in bad shape. Many were also very ordinary, boring colors like maroon & such. I always figured it was simple jelousy.

Thanks to all for the welcomes. :-)

Welcome to the forum!

Yes, you'll have a larger turning radius with a 4 door than a 2 door. But you'll also have a lot more room for cargo and especially people. It rides a little nicer on the road, too.
