Wheel spacers and tire idle issues?
I looked around for an answer before posting. I hope I didnt' miss anything. This is my first post!
I'm planing on getting a 2 inch coil spring replacement lift on a Wrangler TJ with 31x10.5 tires and factory aluminum 15" wheels. This isn't set in stone. I read that I will have tire rub issues and will need wheel spacers or replacement wheels with less backspacing.
I imagine that moving the tires out, even a little, will cause the tire to take a different path when turning. I think they call this idle?
Will this wear anything out, or more importantly, cause handling issues on pavement?
Is there a way to prevent this?

31 X 10.50 tires even if you put them on factory rims with no off-set will not require wheel spacers. If you go to 12.50 width on factory rims however,you will definitely need the spacers. I just found this out the hard way!
