Seat belt question

So, my dog ate my back seat belts in my JK Unlimited. (no really.) and I am trying to replace them and was thinking about putting in some race harness style ones instead of stock. But I dont want to put in a cage that I have to strap the 4 point harness to. So I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the 3 point harness style belts. Looks like they mount just like the stock ones but they would look better. Do they work better or worse? Any input would help. Thanks.

All stock seat belts are 3 point (minus lap belts). I don't see any point.

The ones that I saw, actually go over both of your shoulders but come together behind the seat and then would go to the mounting point on the roll bar.

I have the 3 point retractables. I have them because of my new seats but the only pain was getting them set correctly. I got the driver side fine but the passenger side sits crooked. I think that's because the mounting points for each side are at different heights (lap mount points). I put the retractor in the stock location so it is kinda sideways down the back of the seat, but it works. I wish I went with 4 points personally. Don't get me wrong the 3 points are nice because they are retractable so you are able to look out the side of your jeep when wheeling. I think they would be better if a custom rollcage was in my jeep to where the retractor was in a different spot. But my main complaint is the mounting locations for the hip straps. So it depends on a few different things but I'm happy with them. Plus 4 points would actually work with my seats I had to use the straps on the side of the seats because I couldn't fit the the lap/shoulder strap thought the seat slits. It would work with a style seat where the shoulder strap slits are opened up. Sorry for any confusion haha

Oh forgot to say I have a TJ so mounting locations may be different.
