Heck yea! thats kinda the route I went with mine, except

1) I dont have a good metal saw and
2) I dont have a welder

recently I discovered I actually do have a welder, but anyways.

Looks awesome. You did a goood job, cant wait to see some pics painted and on your jeep.

fairly easy, and best of all FREE !

I used and Air cut off tool and a 4 1/2 grinder. My welder is a Thermarc 110 welder. I plan to add a grill guard out of some 120 wall dom tubing. When it is all done i am going to have to powder coated satin black. Thats the plan. I will post more pictures. Thanks guys.

Well this is what I did yesterday to my stock bumpers. I also got the grill guard tube it measure 1 5/8 inch outside diameter I plan to attach a winch plate so the bar is going to be notch to go over the top and also part of the front part of the bumper. I will post more pictures when I get them.
Hope you like

I love how you did the front bumper...

man do i wish i had fabrication skills haha

I wanna do the same thing to my front and rear bumper (just not as drastic of a finished angle on the rear bumper).

Well I got the parts that I have been waiting for. D-Rings And Winch Plate from Rough Country. I got everything mocked up and taced in place. All I have to do is finish welding up everything and have it powered coated. I ordered a Rough Country 9500 winch w/ Synthetic Rope and it will not be here until next month. So what do you think, Hope y'all like it.

To all that think they cant fabricate, I should let you know that I am in a wheelchair. So anyone can do what ever they put there mind to. Just give it a Try. If it does not work out. The metal can be cut out and just start all over. If a first you do not succeed. Try Try again.:thumb:

Well a month and a half later I finally got my winch for the Jeep. A Rough Country RS9500 W/ synthetic rope. Paid $399.99 plus shipping and now It's $449.99 plus shipping now that they have them in stock. But here are the pictures of it on the bumper I think it look great cant wait to see if it works. I think this is the first in this forum for a rough country winch. Hope you like!!!!!

Looks awesome dude! I did end up using the same setup but with bone scratch to build my bumper. I need to build up a stinger next then mount up the winch for sure! Hope I can get a good deal as well when I buy mine.

Again looks good!
