Update on "SPICE" Trektop NX (just an update on the color)...

Some of you may know that I was concerned that my only option (that wasn't black) was "Spice" for my new Bestop Trektop NX.

I almost didn't buy the Trektop (the model I wanted) because the only 2 colors were black and "Spice". I'm pretty sure my factory top is "Dark Tan" and I didn't want the top to clash with my interior and look cheap.

The color is freaking perfect!!!

If I could pick from every color that Bestop offers (I think there are like 20) this is the color I would have chosen. Absolutely perfect replacement for any TJ that came with a tan top from the factory. I'm guessing that is why Bestop only offers Spice and 2 blacks for the Trektop NX. Because if you want a Tan top... this is the color for you!!!

Great Job Bestop! :thumb:

PS- Full review to follow in the next week or so.

Oh, and my TJ is dark green and it came with a tan top from the factory.

Sweet!
This is really nice to hear, because I, um, get other slightly less positive comments about our color options A LOT.

I'm doing a show this weekend, and every time I get some crusty old CJ owner (us CJ owners are all crusty) who is made we stopped the slightly-off-white color we made back in 1984.

Thanks for your support!

I was concerned with the lack of color choices on the Trektop but now that I see this in person I couldn't be happier. It almost makes sense to me that it's the only tan option now that I see the color.

Good to know. Can you post a picture? I'm trying to decide what top I want.
