Jeep TJ Dana 44 and rust free frame

I have a Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006) rear Dana 44 D44 with 3.73 gears for sale. Complete drum to drum. I was told it has around 30k miles. Open carrier. Rubicon yoke. You can buy a adapter u-joint to use w non rubicon driveshaft.
It was inspected and has a new crush sleeve. Looks nice and clean, painted gray hammertone.
$1000

2005 Jeep TJ frame. From Alabama, NO RUST!!! Complete w center skid plate and 6 cylinder mounts. This 05 frame will fit earlier TJ down to 97 w minimal modification (metric bolt holes rather than standard).
Still in factory coating. This thing is perfect! I just changed direction on my project. Can be transported easily, even in short bed pick-up.
$1200

I will post pics soon or can text them to you.

I'm in Janesville, WI 53546. Right near the WI/IL border

Thanks
-Shaun-

I will throw in some 3.73 gears for the front D30 to sweeten the deal!

No one wants a clean southern frame?

Is 1k your bottom dollar? East coast gear supply can get me a ford 8.8 for that much, you know? I think the 8.8s are a little stronger but I'm n the market for something better than a Dana 35. I'd even come get it for the right price

Well, to be honest I just put $300 into it at the rear end shop for new pinion crush sleeve , inspection and seals. So I want to stay pretty close.

I don't think you are figuring things out right on the ECG rear, I looked into that route also. It was more like $2,500 set up the way I wanted and shipped if I remember right. Don't forget about the other nickel and dime expenses (e-brake cables, drive shaft mods, hard lines, etc). And the 8.8 is narrower.

This would be a bolt in deal. It even has drums, so your D35 brake cables will mate up. It has all appropriate hard lines, etc. Only other part you would need to change is the u-joint, which I would think you would change out anyway.

What I will offer, is if you pick up I will add 3.73s for the front D30 and a D30 G2 aluminum cover I purchased to do the swap, all for the $1,000.

I'll PM you my number if you want to work something out.

All prices are really OBO, but be easy on me!

Thanks
-Shaun-

Thanks Owen.

I'm guessing there are others in you shoes. I've had a hand full of PMs, but no one has showed up with cash.

I have $300 in this D44 on top of its purchase price, and am including extra parts. No one wants a D44? No one needs a frame?:banghead:

Offers?

You're killing me 242. I'd love to see a young Jeeper get it, but I sunk $300 in it just having it inspected and fresh crush sleeve installed.

You are doing great - you have only lost $10 in 8 days - that's only a loss of $1.25 a day. At this rate, you won't be completely broke for another 192 days. :D

Well - my assessment still stands - you either need a pay raise or you will start selling stuff in about 192 days :D

I feel your pain - I have a jeep and a wife - she is expensive. (She = both ladies)

Luckily for me, my LJ has a 44 rear.

Yea, between gas and the girlfriend, I can't keep any money held back

subtlez28 07-19-2011 09:06 PM

D44 is sold.

Someone must need a frame! Lets make a deal!

subtlez28 08-22-2011 01:05 AM

The D44 sold. I have had occasional interest in the frame, but it is still here.

I would like the garage space back, lol.

Minn_wild1 02-02-2012 06:05 PM

Still have the frame?
