A/C condensation leaking onto passenger floor

While running my a/c, I get a puddle on the passenger floorboard. Anyone know how to fix this?

Ive gotten the puddle before, after running it awhile. I dont know how to fix it either. Its just the condensation off that big black thing under the dash.

TJ a/c issues

 There are 2 separate but similar issues. Not sure how they're related other than both from a/c use. One is the stubby little 1" drain tube that come out on the engine side of the fire wall. That is the issue that will litterally fill your floorboard if your not paying attention. Easily resolved by buying a 8-12" rubber hose with a 90 bend. Just not enough draw on that little 1" stub so it runs back into the passenger floor board. Mopar doesn't even make a hose for that so you just have to go to the Auto parts store and pick one that fits.

The other issue is humidity related and only seems to appear in my TJ when the top is off and I'm being a wuss and running the a/c. When I make turns I get drips on my feet and/or the floor mat. Seems to coincide with all the condensation above my dash vents. Nothing compared to the other problem. My 98 did both and so does my 04. Would love to know how to remedy this second issue.

The guy that owned my jeep before me said he got his elbow MOPAR? I mean this rubber elbow looks like it was made specifically for this tube. I asked where he got it and thats what he said. *shrug*

I interrogated about 6 different Jeep dealers and several Jeep specialty shops and finally determined there is no hose made "specifically" for that one. ie. no part number exists.

I just went to Autozone and dug around until I found one, like you said, that looks like it was made for it. Worked like a charm.

Yea, I had heard the same story before. I was surprised when he said he got it Mopar.
