Freedom top which side to take off first?

The manual says take the left side off first and put on last.

By left are they referring to the drivers side, or passenger side as 'the left panel'

I originally took off my driver side panel just to see how it was done (once) i replaced it and now have a leak diretly above my rear view mirror dropping water down on the stereo/dash :(

I think it may need re-adjusting but not sure if i even took off the proper side first.

thanks allot!!

:wavey: The drivers side is the left side.

Did you lock the latches above rear view and sun visor?

:whistling: There's a position pin for each side, right over the door windows (rollcage holes) and the tops can't be "mispositioned" as long as the pins are there !!

Drivers side off first and on last--on reinstallation, start the rear thumbscrews threads and leave loose-then attach the two front latchs-set the twistlocks in rearward order, till the last thing left, is the two rear thumscrews--thighten them--FINGER TIGHT--

Thats it-

Make sure you don't fold-over the rubber seals as you place the top sections in. They are very soft, but durable.
