The BEST gas mileage I've EVER gotten!

Travelling down the highway the other day and had the little vehicle information centre below the speedometer set to the fuel mileage page. I was glancing at it a few times while on cruise curious to see what I was averaging, when I glanced down and almost sh!t my pants to see that the display was telling me I was averaging around 120.4MPG. I hit the reset button and it went away, but for that slight moment I could feel my wallet getting heavier. ;)

I noticed it again today while cruising down the highway and I don't see it as a major problem, but I think the computer may have a slight glitch. Just thought it was kind of humorous and figured it'd only be appropriate for me to gloat about my wonderfully efficient JK.

Canada, eh? The calculator must be in rods per hogshead or something, and they just forgot to change units on the display.

Hahaha. :flipoff:

I prefer it when the calculator is switched to MPG. It's easier for me to determine mileage rather than trying to determine it when the calculator tells me I'm averaging 9.0L/100KM

We had the same 'mileage computer' setup in a Ford van years ago...and got the ridiculous high milage also while on cruise control. It's for real...for a few seconds every now and then your engine is actually 'coasting' in cruise control-and you really ARE getting that high mileage because your engine isn't doing anything...same thing if you coast in neutral down a long hill...but on the AVERAGE you aren't going to get anything near that. Makes you feel good but not for long...

Hm, that's interesting for sure! I'm not sure the accuracy of that in this case though. I've left it saying one hundred something MPG's while off cruise and it doesn't seem to go away. The '1' digit stays where it is, and the last three will change.

I got some great mileage this weekend on the interstate but then again I had a 30mph wind behind me too lol
