How do I remove the dash

I have removed all the dash except the part above the glove box. I have taken the 3 upper screws out, all screws in the glove box. It still has something holding it. Any ideas?:banghead:

I just looked in my Haynes Manual, I couldn't find anything on the part of the dash above the glove box. Sorry bud.

The glove box itself ? If so there is bolts behind it 2 on each side . Very hard to get to them

Are you taking the whole dash off the frame or just the facade off the dash panel?

you need to fold down your windshield and there will be screws under it.

Thanks everyone. I am taking the dash off to repair some things and paint.

I found them. For anyone else that wants to know. There are 4 bolts (2 each side ) behind the dash that hold the (old Crap Bar) in place.

Thanks everyone for your help

Ya . Hate them . I can't get 2 of them off too tight , no room . I bought after market safe/box and can't even swap it .

Those are pleasant, eh? Someone in there infinate wisdom decided to mount the post in plastic - ofc one of mine stipped - ended up grabbing the oh s@#% handle and yanking the sob out - felt better afterwards and i was luckly that the stripped anchor pulled out with only a minor breakage of the plastic.

Ya the ones by the speaker are easy . Yet I have a/c unit and the ones by the stereo are the hard ones. I did get them out last night to install my tuffy glovebox .
