I would be in for a trip out there! I've been itching to go. Gotta few bugs to work out with my jeep first. Most importantly my DW I've acquired.

i have skyjack 700 shocks stock springs with retainers and mud tires. its a jk wrangler would cliffs be a good place to go for me ive heard its more for the experienced off roader or from what people have told me dont go there if you dont want to get your body damaged at all

moe 06-14-2011 08:04 PM

Sixgun, thats not true. The main trails are wide open (now more than they ever), some of the off trails are open but you may get some overhanging branches into the clear coat..... There are plenty of places to get body damage on the difficult trails but I wouldn't see you tackling those...You can get body damage anywhere you go wheelin......hell you could be runnin a easy up hill, skip a gear and roll back into a tree, thats just a realistic chance you take when you go out..

Would you recommend going with another jeep or would it be ok to just take one?

moe 06-14-2011 09:05 PM

I would always suggest goin with another vehicle, better if you have someone who has been there before and has an idea of where to go and where not to go...I am usually around nad I'm only a cpl minutes from there and I dont mind meetin up with newer jeepers to show them around......I took crickeyjeep out a cpl months ago so he could get his feet wet...

It's a fine place to learn and moe is a great one to go with! :thumb:
I've been out with him many many times and the info he has provided here is spot on.

Pretty simple, if you don't feel comfortable just don't do it!
