Rugged Ridge Winch

Hey does anyone here have a Rugged Ridge Winch? They seem to be very reasonably priced but I am not sure of their reliability. I have a few Rugged Ridge interior products and am going to be ordering the XHD front bumper so I was just curious is anyone had any feedback on the rugged ridge winches?

Here is the one I am looking at

Well you probably will hear the same stories on all the rest of the China winches.

It may be OK for limited uses, but may not suffice for a lot of hard use, is going to be the basis of most of what you'll hear.

The warranty vs Warn's will be another. 2 yr limted/1 yr electrical vs Lifetime.

Yeah but I was gunna go Warn but I realised that I could buy 3 of these winches for the price of one Warn of similar capacity. Plus I hope to not need the winch much...I wanna have it but it is more for the just incase instead of the absolutly need.

You get what you pay for. I can use my warn every day and not worry about it. And if it does break. Like ^he said it will be fixed. The warranty shows how much faith they put in their products.

I have no doubt that the Warn Winch is the tops when it comes to Winches. I am just wondering for someone who probably will not use the Winch much is it worth the price? I mean if I find that I am gunna be winching a lot more then I thought and the cheaper one burns out then for sure I will look into a Warn. But I know ppl who have been running Smitty's for like ever and have never had a problem but paid half of what you would pay for a Warn.
