Some Tire questions

I'm a bit new to offroad, and plan on buying things one by one, and now the tires are up :). What is the max tire size that will fit on my 2010 jeep wrangler 2 door? I have to suspension modifications, its straight stock. Also, i have OEM 17 inch rims; what is the widest/ narrowest tire i can fit? the current tire is Goodyear Wrangler P225/75R17. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

you can run 35 12.5s on a stock two door JK if you cut up the plastic fenders or run aftermarket flat style fenders

And a trimmed pinch seam and bumpstop extensions. And probably more.

OP, here is some info you might find beneficial.

Thanks, I also meant to put that I have no mods to suspension, but I've finally found an answer!

Oh, and wheel spacers allow me to put wider tires on my stock rims right? Any brand recommendations? Or would I be wayyyy better off with just wider wheels?

You'd be better off with properly backspaced wheels, IMO.

on JKUs yes but I've wheeled with a few stock JKs with cut fenders and 35s works great. also with metal cloak fenders you can run 37s on a stock suspension
