looking for a NOVA jeep mechanic

hey guys, anyone know of a good "jeep" mechanic shop in the north VA area.
i need to replace my exhaust manifold on my 98 wrangler, and thats a bit beyond my skill(plus i have no tools)

just moved from knoxville and we had a shop there specifically for jeeps. and don't really want to pay a dealership to do this. any info would be appreciated!

Had to look at this thread. NOVA in Spanish means "no go". So was wondering why you would want a mechanic to make your jeep "No Go".

NoVA is only known by Virginians :) i think it has something to do w/ Northern Virginia Community College. it's called NoVA. just a guess though. sorry, i don't know any non-dealer mechanics :(

Not sure where in NoVa you're located, but in Loudoun County where I am, I take my Jeep to M&D Automotive Machine Shop. Every body up here is nice, they have reasonable labor rates, if you mention NoVa Jeepers Association then they take $10 off of the labor charge per hour, and the president has a Jeep from every decade. The most recent work I got done there was my axle regear.

just call one of those craigslist mobile mechanics. if you get lucky you get experienced mechanics out there. they are cheap. just negotiate price with them. they'll eventually come and do work for you because economy is so tough these days. i just got my starter and belts replaced for 200 including parts and labor. not bad
