YJ Auto Column to floor shifter?

Anyone do much of this any sort of suggestions. My linkage going from the column shifter is just all played otu and not worth another day of my time. I sometimes can't get it in park and its a pain to find where drive even is being all the labels are ripped off the column haha. I planned on just pulling up the floor pan that looks to have been off already and im sure linkage for tranny is rigth there. I figure I could use a B&M autozone special thing but perhaps eye it up and make soemthing work. I don't need an indicator or any junk just want to have no more sloppy play in it and have it go firm into what gear I select. Doesn't have to be pretty, and whether anyone likes it or not its gonna be a ratfink style shifter no matter what haha. Maybe have a hardtop shifter and a topless shifter extension.

So if anyone has converted this please share some knowledge and perhaps a picture. Thanks!

I have a floor shift in my YJ. But I have a 700r4 transmission. If the stock transmissions linkage im sure you could actually use the same shifter I have. I have the lokar floor mounted shifter. Its a 16 inch stick that comes up out of the floor....I mean its a monster and I love it. When I get home on the eighth Ill wrap it up and post pictures of it. I plan on using a stick shifter YJ's shift boot and steering column. Should look realllll clean.

I put a B&M on my CJ7 with a Lokar kickdown cable. Works great. One thing you have to do though is make sure the old column linkage is fixed in the "PARK" position, or you can't remove your key. Also check out your backup lights. Mine are on the B&M shifter.
