33x12.50 help

BFG KM2/ DURATRAC/ M/T ATZ or other brand
Need advice for DD/WW, ill be adding my 3in lift soon but too many choices for tires. I'm putting them on cragar soft 8's and they won't see a lot of mud. Staying under $250 per tire what should I go with?

And I'm sure there are many similar threads but the search on my mobile app isn't working

JeepinCpt 06-13-2011 03:21 PM

Duratracs or Fallen Rocky Mountains or Wild Peaks.

JeepinCpt 06-13-2011 03:22 PM

Falken not fallen...

Ibuildembig 06-13-2011 03:28 PM

Look at a Cooper STT as well

InvertChaos 06-13-2011 03:31 PM

I have the duratracs. I can't really compare to the other tires but they've been great so far.

TJe0454 06-13-2011 05:38 PM

if you are going to be primarily on the road, go with duratracs. very quiet, and have great all season manners.

33x12.5 on 15in cragar soft 8's

Duratracs, join Tread Lightly - Home and get the $100 rebate on them, thank us later... :)

exactly.

x2 on the Duratracs. Love mine 33x12.5R15 on MB72 Alloys. Check them out instead of the cragers too.

twisted_TJI 06-13-2011 05:58 PM

After a little research and all of your help i have decided to go with the DURATRACS.

$1140 delivered to my door on cragars x4 mounted and balanced, lugnuts and a certificate for each tire for replacement if ANYTHING happens to the tire at DISCOUNT TIRE DIRECT. And then the $100 rebate so i would be an idiot to go elsewhere. Thanks to all

Has anyone heard of this certificate for replacement deal? $23 per tire and they ship you a new 1 to your door if anything ever happens to it during the life of the tread. Below is the link explaining it. Not too much fine print, it seems pretty cut and dry

Discount Tire Direct - Certificate for Refund or Replacement

rockhard98 06-13-2011 06:29 PM

Do a all terrain, you don't need mudders if you ain't gonna be off road much. You will also get better life out of the all terrains verses a mudder. Might even save some money.

rockhard98 06-13-2011 06:30 PM

Coopers are a good tire, also got wranglers, and pro comps.

I did this with my 37's. They stand by it. But again if your pretty much on road only it may not be worth the expense.

I just had Duratracs put on today, only 31's but they are a really good looking tire. The store had a $40 mail in rebate and I'm sending in the $100 one tomorrow, how long did it take to get your rebate?
