Tuffy Security Console

We recently installed and reviewed the rear half console by Tuffy and were very pleased with the product. Check out our review here:

Nice review.

I'm toying with the idea of getting a stereo head unit Tuffy console. I'll have to save up for it. I like the idea of the ability to lock up the head unit, in the console instead of the dash. The head unit in this item replaces the front seat's drink holders. I prefer the YJ design because that incorporates the drink holders and the head unit ide better hidden as it doesn't stick out. The location of the E-break muffed up the TJ's design , for me.

Another small annoyance that this would alliviate is that I get annoyed when I have the console or glove compartment locked and need to access their contents when the key is already in the ignition. Different ignition and console keys would remove that annoyance, but add a key.

I still haven't saved the money, so I still haven't decided. If I get anything, it will most likely be a Tuffy.

You dont mind adding a "different key" thats going to have to be on a seperate keyring then the ignition key.

If you get into the locked glovebox/center console that often why not just carry a second ignition key?

I love Tuffy's products. I just don't love their prices. I tend to get mine used on Ebay or Craigslist. I would be lost without my overhead, glove box or center console from Tuffy.
