What have you lost?

Just like the title says...what have lost out of your jeep while riding topless.. I've only been jeep'n for about 2.5 months now..and yesterday I was on the highway and managed to loose 2 empty soda cans and an old hat that was around my parking brake lever lol..

what have YOUUUU lost?

GREEN-MACHINE 06-16-2011 04:34 PM

my life savings

InfernoGirl 06-16-2011 04:35 PM

Not much, I'm pretty careful with how I put things in her tho'. Just came home with $300 of groceries, etc from Walmart today topless and doorless, got it all home just fine... :D I have lost a few errant Kleenex, and once we did loose one of the little packs of Kleenex that our daughter left in the backseat and we didn't think about.... That's pretty much it.

Lawngnome 06-16-2011 04:36 PM

I lost my work schedule one time. Going down the highway it got sucked out of my cup holder.

Bugsbb 06-16-2011 04:40 PM

My CD slid off the seat and went who knows where turning a corner last week. Lost a trash bag a couple days ago.lol

Schitbrick3633 06-16-2011 04:41 PM

lol..it hadnt been a problem yet for me but for some reason i guess the wind was just horrible aside from driving down the highway topless

oh well:doh:

Lost my hat and a buddies hat a few times. You'd think I'd learn

kjeeper10 06-16-2011 06:02 PM

About 43 pay check stubs. It was bad, ripping down the highway 65 plus. I seen the yellow envelope catch air. I went to grap and the entire contents (stubs) spread out over 4 lanes. I needed those things :hide:

And a redsox hat :(

kjeeper10 06-16-2011 06:04 PM

Oh garbage too, self cleaning I call it. Lol

chucky cheese 06-16-2011 07:51 PM

Lost a hand towel that I keep under the seat for rainy days, a few lids off water bottles - they usually just kind of float up out of my fingers, hover, and zoom away.
And 2 or 3 packs of cigarettes that slid across the dash and out the door-hole when cornering.

And one dog. Fortunately, we were going slow. She saw a squirrel while camping and bailed out.

Passenger. That'll teach 'em to obey the seatbelt stickers when riding doorless!

"Here, hold this map with two hands for a minute while i carefully drop the right front tire into that hole..."

I was on my way to the store to buy something with a coupon. The coupon flew out of my shirt pocket. :banghead:

Dr_Strangelove 06-16-2011 10:19 PM

Countless things. Little towel with my name on it I'd had since I was a kid blew out a few months ago (weird, I know, but hey), otherwise just crap mostly. My cell phone flew off the dash and out the window while cornering once, countless papers, directions, loose clothing, etc.

eatdirt 06-16-2011 10:34 PM

Had some drinks the other night and my wife drove us home after stopping for food. We had two cups full of ice after the meal and I had target practice going 70..... I mean one blew out and hit a sped limit sign and the other hit a sign directly above us on the highway. Crazy how the wind just takes things like that.

VHunter 06-16-2011 10:48 PM

Passenger seat cover. Luckily the car behind me wasn't following too close. Previous owner installed it, I just never fixed it.

That99SaharaGuy 06-16-2011 10:54 PM

I lost a pocket knife, so I think I'm going to go with the story that it fell out of my pocket and mysteriously landed in the road...

RatherBNarizona 06-16-2011 11:49 PM

mostly trash, which I always turn around for and pick up.
Lost my hat once, but grabbed it in midair. I was quite impressed with myself

No early riser, but I lost my memory also and that's the only thing I recall!

People still listen to CDs? lol

The only things I've lost were a few napkins that were sitting on top of a bag and possibly a plastic bag once. I'm very mindful of how and what I put in there, and what spots the wind tends to whip the most.

Sorry, I retired my CD collection in 2006, and I thought I was a late adapter of MP3 players. Alls I'm saying is my iPhone in an Otterbox Defender sits perfectly in the little depression on top of the TJ dashboard, and the rubber on sticky plastic connection makes it sit so well I never worry about losing it, even off road. :D

And it never skips when I hit a bump! :D
